These basket are made from pitch pine reclaimed from the old school we live in and durable birch plywood. They are finished with two coats of osmo polyX oil. We use ours for taking washing to the line but other people have used them for storage, toys, blankets etc.
Originally designed as an alternative to the plastic baskets that disintegrate after a few years and head for landfill or the sea.
