The door panels are brown Oak, Ripple Ash, Yew and Elm. The kitchen is for a self catering bunkhouse and will have a mixture of granite , Stainless and Oak worktops. I designed the handles and hinges to go with the slightly industrial, heavy duty feeling of the kitchen while the mixture of woods will keep it quirky and interesting for guests. The large oak posts on top of the units in the picture below will be between the units and support worktops where there are no cupboards. They are from an old rustic oak bar that had to be dismantled on the site.
I will post some more pictures when it is fitted.
Oak wall cupboard with brown Oak frame and Elm door panels. All interiors made from birch ply. Hand made whirly corner unit. All drawers on under mounted, hidden, roller sliders. These are very smooth and have a soft close feature.
This cake stand is made from 3 pieces of steam bent brown ash that support the ripple ash shelves. The ball is turned from pitch pine reclaimed from an old school. It is for sale for £195 , I could make larger versions as shelving, bedside table, display stand etc.
This structure replaced one that had rotten and fallen over. It was a quarter of a mile walk up a muddy path. The finial was made from a log of yew that came from the grounds of the estate.
